Standing Committees
THE FOLLOWING POSITIONS WILL REQUIRE TWO CO-CHAIRS
Freshman Class Chairs: These two co-chairs will work with their class to organize two "special need" drives for the entire membership. They will be responsible for identifying the charity, informing membership of needs, and collecting and delivering items. They will also organize their class to work one day at a local food bank. (i.e.: the Homeless Assistance Center in Homestead.)
Sophomore
Class Chairs: These two co-chairs will be responsible for exploring
possible fund raising ideas and presenting an idea to the membership for approval.
Once a project has been decided, the co-chairs will work with their class
to carry out all aspects of a successful event. This event will be held in
either Oct. or November and will count as that month's general membership
meeting.
Junior Class
Chairs: These two co-chairs will organize their class and decide
on a
"Social" fundraiser for the club. This can be any get-together for
the club and will count as the February general membership meeting. Once an
event has been identified then the class will work together to carry out all
aspects of a successful event.
Senior Class Chairs: These two co-chairs will work with their class to organize a carnival for the Homeless Assistance Center in Homestead.
August Kick Off — Plan a fun Kickoff meeting for August. These chairs must secure a location and organize food for the meeting. A fun twist / ice/breaker should also be planned.
December Holiday Meeting — Plan all aspects of this meeting with a "Holiday Flair." (excluding business agenda)
